Dogs Life Rescue not only works hard to rescue and find forever homes for animals but we also now transport animals for other organisations, rescues and private clients.
We are DEFRA approved Type 2 Transporters and also hold a importers licence. We also hold various European Transport licences as well.
We have recently built a new van with the help of professional installers. This consists of the following
- Full Electric Roof Ventilation (Intake and Extraction)
- Full Air Conditioning to Rear of the van
- Fully insulated and Wipe clean walls and floor
- Full smart temperature control
- CCTV and Tracking
- Full dog first aid kits.
- 4 extra large cages fixed further 2 removable (Large breed 50KG plus) all have removeable inserts to make even bigger all with escape hatches.
- 3 Medium cages all have removeable inserts to make them bigger, all with escape hatches.
All our drivers and “Dog Nannies” are fully animal first aid trained.
When we transport your animals you are given copies of all our licences for your piece of mind. We also undertake a full assessment of your animal before we transport, this includes checking microchip numbers, photos of your animal before we transport, full health check including any dietary needs or medical issues. We conduct full hand overs to our drivers and Dog Nannies on start and finish of transport.
We share a unique tracking code with you so you can track the progress of your animal live while in transport, as well as sending you personal photos of your animals along the trip for your piece of mind.
