Meet Dewi – Our Enthusiastic Young Kelpie Cross
Dewi is a vibrant and affectionate 9-month-old Australian Kelpie cross, brimming with energy and an incredible love for people. He’s wonderfully human- and child-friendly, always eager to make new friends. Dewi’s excitement sometimes spills over into reactivity towards other dogs. This is simply due to his lack of social skills and manners, something he is working on daily with our expert behaviourist. Thanks to his dedicated training, Dewi is already showing fantastic progress and learning how to interact more politely with his fellow canines.
Dewi is a strong boy who will thrive with an adopter experienced in handling large, energetic dogs. To ensure Dewi finds the perfect match, we will conduct thorough meet-and-greets and rigorous home checks. If you’re interested in adopting this lovable, energetic companion, please reach out to us at adoptions@dogsliferescue.co.uk or info@dogsliferescue.co.uk.

Meet Arora: A Brave Survivor in Need of a Loving Home
Arora is a stunning 5-year-old American Bulldog who has endured far more than any dog should. Rescued from the pound in a severely emaciated state, she was not only physically depleted but also emotionally scarred. Sadly, it was evident that Arora had been severely overbred, further adding to her challenges. Despite her difficult past, this courageous girl is on a journey of healing and learning to trust again.
Arora has some trust issues, particularly with men, and will growl as her way of setting boundaries until she feels safe. However, with patience, kindness, and the occasional sprat treat, she warms up and reveals her affectionate side. Arora thrives in the company of older, dog-savvy children (13+), and she does well with other dogs after proper introductions.
Currently, Arora is on a special diet designed to help her gain weight and build muscle. Her love for food has made her training journey productive and enjoyable. She already knows basic commands and is eager to learn more with ongoing training to build her confidence.
Despite her tough start in life, Arora is a testament to resilience and the power of love and care. She’s looking for a home with understanding owners who can provide her with the patience, structure, and affection she needs to continue blossoming. If you have room in your heart and home for this sweet, determined girl, Arora will reward you with loyalty and unconditional love.

Chase – Our 20-Month-Old American Bulldog Cross
Chase came to us as a stray, and when he first arrived, he was very nervous around people. Having spent most of his life in kennels, he had been abandoned multiple times by his previous owner. Despite this challenging start, Chase has made incredible progress since joining us.
He has been in training since his arrival, learning to control his bouncy energy and improving his behavior around other dogs. Soon, he will begin residential training with one of our expert trainers to help him refine his focus and build on the skills he’s learned so far.
Chase is eager to please and loves being out on walks, where he can burn off his energy. He is a very big boy, strong and full of love, so a handler with the strength and experience to continue his training is essential. Could you be the one to give Chase his forever home?
