Welcome to the Dogs Life Rescue & Transport CC 1210334 Blog! Here, you’ll find updates on all we’re doing to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome dogs in need across the UK, Ukraine, Turkey, and beyond. Our mission is to create a better life for dogs who’ve been through hardship, and each post will share our progress, introduce you to our current rescues, and keep you in the loop about future events, fundraisers, and volunteer opportunities.
Our rescue work wouldn’t be possible without your incredible support, so we’re excited to share stories of the resilient dogs we’ve saved and those who are still on their journey with us. We’ll also be posting about the impact your donations have made and how your support allows us to keep going—whether it’s for neutering programs, medical treatment, or transport for dogs to their forever homes.
Look out for upcoming events and ways to get involved! From fundraising drives to volunteer initiatives, every little bit helps, and we’d love to see our community grow. Thank you for being part of our mission to give dogs a second chance at life!
Meet Luna!!
Luna the Bulldog: A Story of Rescue and Transformation
Luna, a sweet bulldog with a gentle soul, was surrendered to a local vet by her previous owners, who were overwhelmed by her persistent diarrhoea and sought to have her euthanized. Fortunately, the veterinary team saw Luna’s potential and knew her story didn’t have to end this way. They contacted Dogs Life Rescue & Transport CC 1210334 and we immediately stepped in to help.
Upon her arrival, we ensured Luna received a thorough medical examination, with a full set of tests to identify any underlying issues. Remarkably, her tests came back negative, revealing that her condition was due to an unsuitable diet rather than a chronic health problem. With this simple solution in hand, we adjusted her diet, and within days, Luna was feeling much better.
Today, Luna is thriving in the care of a loving foster family, enjoying the comforts of a stable home and a healthy, balanced diet. Her journey serves as a powerful reminder of the importance of second chances and the difference that the right care can make. At Dogs Life Rescue & Transport CC 1210334, we’re committed to our mission: Rescue, Rehabilitate, Rehome—and Luna’s story is a perfect example of why we do what we do.
Meet Dewi!!
Dewi’s Journey: From Misunderstood to Model Pup
Dewi, a lively and energetic 9-month-old pup, was first brought over from Spain and placed with a family in the UK. Initially, everything seemed fine. But after an incident with another dog, Dewi’s family grew concerned and deemed him too much of a risk. It was at this point that our team stepped in to give Dewi a second chance.
We conducted a full behavioral assessment and quickly discovered that Dewi’s reactions weren’t rooted in aggression but in sheer uncertainty. Dewi didn’t know how to behave around other dogs—his excitement and energy would come across as overwhelming to them. Lots of barking, jumping, and noisy enthusiasm was simply his way of expressing himself, not hostility.
Understanding this, we immediately began a structured training plan for Dewi, led by our expert trainers and behaviorists. With ongoing guidance, Dewi is learning how to engage calmly and confidently with other dogs, transforming his natural energy into positive interactions. Now, he’s thriving in his foster home, where he continues his training and is well on his way to becoming a gentlemanly companion.
Dewi’s journey is a testament to our mission: Rescue, Rehabilitate, and Rehome. He’s living his best life as he waits for his forever family, and we’re excited to see him continue to blossom.
